Features
UniTime II is an intelligent data
collection terminal with either a
barcode reader, Dallas touch key or
keypad data entry and has three
programmable function keys.
The terminal validates all clocking
transactions instantly whilst storing
over 6 000 transactions before
downloading is required. It comes
with a full battery back-up during
power outages that provides up to
four hours’ operation. The UniTime II
terminal is housed in a durable and
tamper-proof casing and can
be fixed into one position or
made portable for more remote
applications.

Communication options
The UniTime II terminal communicates with the host PC via
either RS-232 or RS-422 or fixed line modem.
Bell schedules
The bell schedules allow you to programme the day, time and
duration of a series of bells or sirens. These can be
programmed to signal the beginning or end of shifts, lunch or
tea breaks. UniTime II provides over 400 siren times per week
and can be set to suspend by day or holiday. It can
also activate gates and turnstiles to open according to
pre-selected schedules.
Software
The software is Windows-based and easily installed
and operated. UniTime II seamlessly integrates with the
standard computer network and infrastructure of most
organisations, both small and large. The dedicated
software optimises the performance of the system as it
supports safety features, access areas and reporting
capabilities. The terminals are complemented by the
software with various password level controls to deliver
time and attendance process accounting and reporting.
