RF Proximity Terminal – UniBadger
TIME & ATTENDANCE
AND ACCESS CONTROL
Time and access control at the touch of a key
Uniclox Technologies’® RF
UniBadger terminal offers the
solution to pressured schedules,
complex labour procedures and
increased security which affect
profitability. UniBadger ensures
workflow efficiency through absolute
control of the work environment that
eliminates the possibility of error
and manipulation by the individual.
Simple and robust in set-up
applications, UniBadger interfaces
through conventional networking
protocols with existing hardware to
deliver reliable performance that will
reduce payroll costs and ultimately
increase the company’s workforce
profitability.
UniBadger facilitates better informed
management decisions through the
more accurate collection of time
and attendance data. It entails the
harnessing and utilisation of time as a
resource – a powerful business asset
that directly affects productivity and
profitability whereby payroll costs
can be streamlined and company
policies be enforced automatically.
UniBadger is highly visible, reliable,
user friendly and instills a control
methodology across all employee
levels. No more clock cards, labels,
manual doors, gate or siren activities
or data storage problems.
Features
UniBadger is housed in a durable,
tamper-proof, wall-mounted casing.
Two proximity reader inputs as well as
two access outputs facilitate the
interfacing of the terminal to a
door or turnstile, resulting in only one
terminal being required to operate
either side of the door or turnstile.
Employees’ names are displayed on
the terminal and profile lockouts
allow stringent adherence to
working hours – no unauthorised
overtime. UniBadger has an alpha
numeric keypad enabling keypad
clocking.
Application
By providing reliable information on
current labour hours, UniBadger
places an insightful tool into the
hands of management whilst
conforming to the accepted
“clock-in” habits of the employee.
This is a source of valuable data that
can be integrated into existing
management and decision-making
systems.
Communication options
The UniBadger terminal
communicates with the host PC via
either RS-232, RS-485, TCP/IP Ethernet
or fixed line modem option.
Bell schedules
The bell schedules allow you to programme the day, time
and duration of a series of bells or sirens. These can be
programmed to signal the beginning or end of shifts, lunch
or tea breaks. UniBadger provides up to 50 sets of siren
times and can be set to suspend by day or holiday.
Software
The software is Windows-based and easily installed and
operated. UniBadger seamlessly integrates with the
standard computer network and infrastructure of most
organisations, both small and large. The dedicated
software optimises the performance of the system as it
supports safety features, access areas and reporting
capabilities. No additional edits are required at the PC as
department transfers, tips, call-outs, travel allowances and
other allowances can all be done at the UniBadger
terminal.
The terminals are complemented by the software with various password level controls to deliver time and attendance process accounting and reporting.
