Features
The UniGuard security guard and
asset control system consists of fixed
checkpoint locations activated by a
recording chip contained in a
water-resistant, shockproof rubber
housing reader.
The checkpoints can be self-installed
and as many checkpoints as
required can be accommodated. Both the hardware and the software
can be installed by the user as the
manual is comprehensive and the
procedures are simple. No expert
advice is required.
The function of the UniGuard is to
scan RF (Radio Frequency) ID tags
and store the tag’s ID-codes in a
journal memory together with the
date/time stamp. The reader stores
8 000 records at any given time and
can effortlessly be backed-up and
archived. Data is downloaded from
the reader and reports are viewed in
sequence. The system is expandable
allowing users to add additional
features and stations, as required.
Application
UniGuard comprises the reader,
a data cable, three guard tags,
six control toms, software CDs,
installation set – and vitally important, a charge unit. This ensures
that the reader is rechargeable by
RF and has a serial connection with
RF. UniGuard offers voice and light
warnings for errors.
This control system can be utilised
by security guards and guard
supervisors, as well as warehouse
managers and distributors, to
cross-monitor the activities of each
user against a pre-set sequence.
UniGuard is equally suited to the
optimisation of machine functioning
and job tracking and could form an
integral part of industrial inspection
and accurate billing.
Due to its remote capability,
UniGuard can perform a clock-in
function in field repairs and rural
situations such as farming, building
sites and patrols.

UniGuard offers multi-tier functionality
and is an optimal management
tool – facilitating performance
checks between all levels of
employees; asset protection;
machine monitoring; profitable job
tracking; as well as monitoring and
controlling contracted security guards
relative to internal security guards.
Software options
Uniclox Technologies’® software is designed for Windows
and as such requires very little training or integration, and
delivers high functionality. Comprehensive reports which
are auto-checked against the pre-selected template can
be printed.
