one’s hand, the HandPunch® 3000
identifies and verifies employees'
identities in less than one second. By
eliminating the high cost associated
with card-based systems, the
HandPunch® 3000 provides any

the HandPunch® 3000 provides for a
standard user memory of up to 512
users with the expandability to grow

Hand geometry technology
The HandPunch® 3000 uses
Recognition Systems’® field-proven
hand geometry biometric
technology. Each time the
employee punches on the terminal,
it captures a three-dimensional
image of the hand. The hand size
and shape are used to identify and
verify the identity with unparalleled
accuracy.
No fingerprints or palm
prints are utilised
There is no question any more;
employees have to be there in
person to record their attendance.
Green and red lights on the
HandPunch® 3000 notify the
employee of the status of each
recording. No more excuses that the
terminal did not register their
transaction.
Communication options
Whether your application calls for one terminal or
thousands, the HandPunch® 3000 can meet the need.
Multiple terminals can be networked together at a site via
RS-485 wiring. Optional communication can be via
TCP/IP Ethernet and various modem technology.
These include a fixed line modem, GSM modem or
GPRS modem.
Bell schedules
The bell schedule lets you programme the day, time and
duration of a series of bells or sirens. These can be
programmed to signal the beginning or end of shifts, lunch
or tea breaks.
Door control
The HandPunch® 3000 provides the capability to unlock
and monitor a door or turnstile. Global time zones may be
used to restrict employee access. The door will stay
unlocked for a duration of five seconds.
Programmable data management keys
The HandPunch® 3000 has user-definable data
management keys. Common uses include department
transfers and in or out status.
