Smarter than card-based
terminals

administer, carry or lose. Based on
the unique size and shape of one’s
hand, the HandPunch® 2000
identifies and verifies the employees’ identities in less than one second,
HandPunch® 2000 clearly notifies
each user of a match by indicating a
red or green light.
Because no one can punch in
or out for another employee,
the system reduces time theft and improves payroll accuracy,
ultimately increasing the
company’s workforce profitability.
Versatile and programmable
function keys
The HandPunch® 2000 has two
user-definable function keys. Common uses include department
transfers or in and out status of the
employee.
Hand geometry technology
The HandPunch® 2000 uses
Recognition Systems’® field-proven
hand geometry biometric
technology. The terminal captures a
three-dimensional image of the
hand each time the employee
punches.
The hand’s size, shape and
marks are used to verify the identity
with unparalleled accuracy. No
fingerprints or palm prints are utilised.
There is no question any more;
employees have to be there in
person to record their attendance.
Green and red lights on the
HandPunch® 2000 notify the
employee of the status of each
recording. No more excuses that the
terminal did not register their
transaction.
Medium enterprise solution
The HandPunch® 2000 provides a new solution for companies with 512 employees or less per terminal or location. The HandPunch® 2000 terminal allows for collection of in and out transactions. With the HandPunch® 2000, medium-sized enterprises no longer need to worry about lost time cards, making new cards, or employees punching for each other.
Pay for what you need
The HandPunch® 2000 comes standard with user capacity for 512 individuals, not upgradeable. The HandPunch® 2000 has a transaction memory to store over 5 000 punches. This ensures that your employees’ data always remains safe.
Communication options
Via a 30 meter RS-232 communications cable that is provided to you, the HandPunch® 2000 quickly connects to the PC where the time and attendance software is installed. Optionally, communication can be via various modems. These include a fixed line modem, GSM modem or GPRS modem.
