Small enterprise solution
The HandPunch® 1000 provides a
new solution for companies with fifty
employees or less per terminal or
location. The HandPunch® 1000
terminal allows for collection of in
and out transactions. With the
HandPunch® 1000, small enterprises
no longer need to worry about lost
time cards, making new cards, or
employees punching for each other.
Pay only for what you need
Designed to grow with your business,
the user capacity of the
HandPunch® 1000 can easily be
expanded in the field without
removing the unit from the wall. Standard user memory provides for
up to 50 employees with the
expandability to grow to 100 users. The transaction memory stores over
5 000 punches. This ensures that your
employees’ data always remains
safe.
Hand geometry technology
The HandPunch® 1000 uses Recognition Systems’® field-proven hand geometry biometric technology.
Each time the employee punches on the terminal, it
captures a three-dimensional image of the hand. The
hand size and shape are used to identify and verify the
identity with unparalleled accuracy.
No fingerprints or palm prints are utilised
There is no question any more; employees have to be there
in person to record their attendance. Green and red lights
on the HandPunch® 1000 notify the employee of the status
of each recorded reading. No more excuses that the
terminal did not register their transaction.
Communication options
Via a 30 meter RS-232 communications cable that is
provided to you, the HandPunch® 1000 quickly connects
to the PC where the time and attendance software is
installed.
Optionally, communication can be via various
modems. These include a fixed line modem, GSM modem
or GPRS modem.

Uniclox Technologies has the following software packages
