What data can be saved to a USB Disk?


You can manually upload and download data (i.e. fingerprint templates, attendance records/transaction logs and images) between the TK100-C and the USB Disk/PenDrive.

  1. Start by pressing and holding the [M/OK] key to open the Main Menu:
  2. From within the Main Menu, scroll with arrow keys until USB Disk/PenDrive is highlighted and press the [M/OK] key.

The following USB options are available:
  • Download Attlog/Record: Copies attendance records/audit logs from the TK100-C to the USB Disk/PenDrive.
  • Download User: Copies users’ info (inc. templates) from the TK100-C to the USB Disk/PenDrive.
  • Upload User: Copies users’ info from the USB Disk/PenDrive to the TK100-C.

Downloading Attendance Records/ Logs


The following files are copied to the USB Disk/PenDrive:

  • 1_attlog.dat (attendance log)
  • 1_oplog.dat (management log)
  • 1_user (User info including templates)
The “X” is the machine number of the TK100-C from which the data file(s) originated.

  1. Insert the USB PenDrive into the TK100-C.
  2. Press and hold the [M/OK]  key to open the Main menu:
  3. From the Main Menu, highlight and select USB Disk/PenDrive.
  4. Press the [M/OK] Key to accept.
  5. Use the arrow keys to highlight Download Attlog and press the [M/OK] key.
  6. The TK100-C will prompt "downloading the data, please wait......” When the records have finished downloading, the TK100-C will prompt “download attendance data successful".
  7. Press the [M/OK] key to exit and return to the previous menu.

Downloading User Data (i.e. fingerprints)

  1. Insert the USB Disk/PenDrive into the TK100-C.
  2. From within the USB Disk /PenDrive menu, scroll with the arrow keys and highlight Download Users.
  3. Then press the [M/OK] key. The TK100-C will prompt "downloading User Data, please wait.....”
  4. When the User Data finishes downloading, the TK100-C will prompt “Download User Data successful"
  5. Press the [ESC] key to exit and return to the previous menu.

Uploading user data (templates)

  1. Insert the USB Disk/PenDrive into the TK100-C.
  2. From within the USB Disk/PenDrive menu, scroll with the arrow keys and highlight Upload Users. Then press the [M/OK] key.
  3. The TK100-C will prompt "Uploading User Data, please wait......”
  4. When the User Data finishes uploading, the TK100-C will prompt “Upload User Data successful.”
  5. Press the [ESC] key to exit and return to the previous menu.
